The Moment
This is the bottle you open when you want Grenache with altitude — juicy and bright, but not simple. It has that rare mix of lift and depth that makes a Tuesday night feel like a proper plan.
What It Feels Like
The nose is immediately expressive: black cherry and raspberry up front, with lavender, violets, and a cool herbal edge (think pine needle and peppery scrub). There’s a faint, savory pull — licorice and olive — that keeps it grounded.
On the palate, it’s medium-to-full bodied and surprisingly nimble. Grilled plum, Mission fig, and dark cherry carry the core, while crushed rock minerality and bright acidity keep everything focused and fresh. Tannins are slightly grippy (in a good way), giving the wine shape without heaviness.
The finish is long and layered: cocoa powder, clove, tapenade, and a final little lift of minty freshness.
Perfect For

Lamb chops, steak bites, or anything off the grill
-
Charcuterie with olives and smoked meats
-
Mushroom dishes and roasted vegetables
-
“Bring a red” moments where you want something memorable, not massive
The Vibe Pairing
Playlist energy: Late-night vinyl, Spanish guitar, slow indie rock
Aura color: Dark garnet, slate stone, dried lavender
Time of day: Dinner → second bottle conversations → “one last glass”
Why We Love This Bottle
Because it’s Garnacha with both power and poise — high-elevation fruit, mineral tension, and a finish that keeps pulling you back in. It drinks like it has a story, not just a score.
