The Moment

This is Muscat with muscle — floral on the surface, but feral underneath. War Pig takes an aromatic grape and pushes it through skin contact, oak, and time, transforming perfume into power.

What It Feels Like

The nose is intense and expressive, opening with orange blossom, citrus peel, peach, and ripe pear, quickly followed by warm spice, dried herbs, and a faint nutty oxidative note. The aromatics are unmistakably Muscat — but darker, deeper, and more serious.

On the palate, the wine is rich, dry, and full-bodied, with a layered texture shaped by long skin contact and time in neutral oak. Flavors move through lemon oil, baked pear, stone fruit, and savory spice, supported by a roundness from malolactic fermentation. Fine tannins give grip, while oxidative notes add depth without heaviness.
