Grand Vin · Pauillac, Bordeaux, France · 2019
The Moment
This is the wine for a real table — when the food is serious, the conversation slows, and the bottle is meant to last the night. It doesn’t rush you. It rewards attention.
What It Feels Like
The nose is unmistakably Pauillac: blackcurrant, blackberry, and crushed raspberry, layered with cedar, graphite, tobacco leaf, and warm baking spice. There’s a sense of structure before the first sip — classic, grounded, confident.
On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied with a velvety, polished texture. Dense black fruit drives the core, while fine-grained, dusty tannins and vibrant acidity keep everything lifted and precise. Oak shows as cocoa, clove, and a subtle smokiness, fully integrated rather than dominant.
The finish is long, composed, and persistent, leaving behind notes of licorice, dark chocolate, and pencil lead — a signature of great Cabernet-led Bordeaux.

Why We Love It
2019 delivered ripe fruit and balance in Pauillac, and Bellegrave captures that beautifully. This is classic Bordeaux with modern polish — structured, age-worthy, but already deeply enjoyable. A wine that feels at home both in the cellar and on the table.
